Protected Disclosure Procedure


The Victorian Pharmacy Authority (The Authority) is committed to the aims and objectives of the Protected Disclosure Act 2012. It will not tolerate improper or corrupt conduct by its employees, officers or members.

The Authority encourages employees, officers and members, and other persons to report known or suspected incidences of corrupt or improper conduct. It will take all reasonable steps to protect people against detrimental action that might be taken against them in reprisal for the making of protected disclosures.

These procedures have been prepared in accordance with the Protected Disclosure Act 2012 (the Act) and the guidelines of the Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission (IBAC) which are available on the IBAC website (www.ibac.vic.gov.au).

Making a disclosure about the Authority and/or its employees and officers

If you wish to make a protected disclosure about the Authority or any of its employees, officers or members, you must make your disclosure directly to the IBAC in accordance with IBAC’s Procedures and Guidelines.
